Rococo Revival Brass Mirror

Discovered in Modica, Sicily, this cast brass mirror dates to the early twentieth century. Its dark patinated finish softens the exuberance of its Rococo scrollwork, giving it a quieter presence than the heavily gilded examples more commonly encountered. Equally at home in a powder room, entry, or above a small console, it brings warmth, age, and architectural character without overwhelming a space.
