Gévaudan Refund & Return Policy
1. Overview
Each piece at Gévaudan is chosen for its craftsmanship, provenance, and soul. Many are antique or handmade, bearing subtle marks of time and the artisan’s hand. These variations in texture, color, or finish are celebrated as part of their story—not considered defects. We invite our clients to examine all details before purchasing, and we’re always happy to provide additional information or photographs upon request.
2. All Sales Policy
Because our collections include one-of-a-kind and fragile objects, all sales—both in-store and online—are considered final. Please select thoughtfully.
Exceptions are made only in cases where:

The item arrives damaged in transit, or

The item is materially different from its description or condition report.
3. Reporting an Issue
If an issue arises, please contact us within three (3) days of delivery or purchase.

For online orders: email shop@maisongevaudan.com with your order number, photos of the item, and packaging.

For in-store purchases: return to the shop with your receipt and photographs if applicable.
We will review your case promptly and determine whether a return, exchange, or store credit is appropriate.
4. Returns & Packaging
If a return is approved:

The item must be shipped back or brought in within seven (7) days of approval.

Items must be in the same condition in which they were received.

Because antiques and vintage items seldom have original packaging, please ensure the piece is securely and professionally packed for safe return transit. Gévaudan cannot accept returns that arrive damaged or altered due to insufficient packing.
5. Refunds & Credits
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will issue a refund or store credit, less any shipping costs, as determined in our review.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. Custom orders, bespoke upholstery, modified pieces, and sale items are not eligible for refund or exchange.
6. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your shipment arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and notify us immediately. We will assist with filing a claim and determine whether a repair, replacement, or refund is appropriate.
7. Gift Purchases & Store Credit
If you received a Gévaudan item as a gift, returns may be eligible for store credit only, at our discretion. Store credits do not expire and may be used toward any future purchase.
