An unusual turn-of-the-century occasional table in dark oak, defined by its wonderfully sinuous silhouette. Four gently bowed legs rise into a shaped apron and dramatically scalloped top, with a second tier below echoing the curves above.

Dating to circa 1890–1910, the table reflects the emerging Art Nouveau vocabulary of the period, when rigid Victorian forms began giving way to softer, organic lines. Its narrow proportions and expressive profile give it a distinctly sculptural presence, equally suited as a pedestal for an object or plant, or as a small side table beside a chair.

The oak retains a beautifully timeworn surface, with variations in color, rubbing and marks accumulated through more than a century of use. We have intentionally preserved this patina rather than erase the history that gives the piece its character.  30" x 18" x 18"

Circa: 1890–1910
Material: Oak
Style: Art Nouveau influence / Late Victorian
Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear and patina throughout.
