Set of 6, 19th C French antique silver toasting / liqueur goblets, weighty, fine quality. Through research we have found these to be a design by Jacques Gregoire Rousseau dating from the early 1800. Beautifully engraved cherry design around the bowl and each having a rustic 'coq' hallmark which we believe to be from Paris between 1809 and 1819. We have left them displaying the tarnished patina that we prefer, but they would polish up beautifully for a more regal look.
